Shortly after coming to America in 1971, we received this (and several other photos)
of Mei-O's newly adopted sister, . Mei-O was heart-broken, thinking that her family
was putting her out of their minds and, once she had gone, had gotten a 'replacement' for her. It turned out that
this was just her younger brother, Ming-shun, playing dress-up! Needless to say, when she found out, she was quite
relieved.

Our friend Johnny's family had a tobacco farm in Ohio, and during a visit there, Mei-O grabbed
a machete and helped cut some tobacco plants!
