Our flight itinerary. Everything went really smooth.

In the Hongqiao Market, there are literally hundreds of pearl shops, as well as clothing, electronics, jewelry, and other shops. This is the business card of the pearl shop we dealt with which we think gave us a pretty good deal on some pearl necklaces. For some reason, I didn't take any pictures at this most interesting 4-story indoor marketplace.
Our train tickets: Beijing to Chengde on the K711 on top, and Chengde to Beijing on the K712. 61 RMB is just under $8.

Our ticket to the Forbidden City, also, referred to as the Palace Museum.
The ticket for the Puninsi Temple. I believe this is the top of the 97 foot tall wood-carved 'Goddess of Mercy With Numerous Hands and Eyes' that sits inside the temple (no photos were allowed).
Our ticket to the Summer Palace (the 'Mountain Manor for Escaping the Summer Heat') in Chengde.
Our ticket stub and entrance card (it actually was a card key, but we didn't need to use it anywhere) from the Putuozongchengmiao Temple in Chengde.
The Jinglun Hotel where we stayed while in Beijing had these cards in the lobby that foreigners could use to show to taxi drivers to take them to any of the listed attractions.

A Beijing subway ticket. It cost 3 RMB (37.5 cents) to go from our hotel to the Wangfujing Shopping District.
The front and back of a restaurant's business card from a restaurant where Mei-O and I ate one night, being tired and not wanting to journey too far from our hotel (the Jinglun Hotel on the map). Many of the hotels and restaurants have maps on the back of their cards.
A brochure documenting some of the services offered by our hotel in Chengde. Check out the English. In Beijing, where there is a greater number of foreigners, both residents and visitors, the English is much better. Mei-O and I sang at the Karaoke Bar, but we didn't make use of any of the other fine services!
Finding a nice, dependable woman taxi driver in Beijing, we made arrangements for her to pick us up at our hotel on the morning of the 25th (our last day there) and drive us to the airport. Since there were four of us and a lot of luggage, she brought along a friend who drove a second taxi. This is her business card. The handwriting on it is her cell phone number.
