An overall view of the Putuozongchengmiao Temple grounds (from Wikipedia). This temple is a small scale model of the Dalai Lama's Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. All of the pictures on this page and the following page are from this temple. We started at the main gate in the lower left (the next picture) and made it all the way to the top!

The entrance to the temple guarded by a traditional lion statue.

One of the arched gateways we had to pass through on the long climb to the top of the main temple building.
A stele covered with historical inscriptions. There are two others, just barely visible on each side.
A rather strange elephant statue.
A religious icon, one of many on the temple grounds.
Another religious statue.
The main Putuozongchengmiao Temple (the 'Red Palace'). We eventually made it all the way up to the top.
