The lake and one of the several bridges in Taichung Park, one of our favorite places to visit in the city. Mei-O played here a lot as a little kid, and I spent a lot of time in the park when I was stationed here with the Air Force.

Every morning in Taichung Park, several groups of women of all ages congregate to exercize by doing ballroom dancing. Their boom-boxes provide the music as various groups dance for hours.

Just outside MingShun's gated community, there's this great little corner store where you can pick up all sorts of goodies. Mei-O's family did a lot of shopping here.

Mei-O in a candy store. We always bring back some hard to find Chinese candy for friends here.

Mei-O and her mom at a toy store. One of the kids' toys broke, and MingShun asked us to pick up a replacement.

Mei-O 'baibai'-ing, offering a prayer at the altar.

Another noodle stand picture! We sure did eat out a lot. That's Mei-O's older brother MingQi in the background.

Mei-O in front of MingQi's house. The car belongs to our nephew ZhiWei who lives at home with his mom and dad and younger brother ZhiCheng (who we never got to see our whole time there.)
